You guys….this wedding was a DREAM! They were such an adorable, fun couple and the bride’s family home was absolutely gorgeous with an incredible classy Mediterranean style.
For the beautiful bride’s makeup and hair, we wanted an un-fussy, relaxed bohemian look to match the feel of her incredible dress and the setting of the wedding. I used soft, charcoal-plums on her eyes, and a soft nude pink lip. Her hair was in cascading waves, lightly pinned on the sides with a bit of volume in the back.
I loved how the pictures turned out by the incredibly talented Rebecca Fishman of Birds of a Feather Photography. I wish I could show you the entire gallery because there were SO MANY great shots…but fortunately this wedding was recently featured on Style Me Pretty, one of the best wedding blogs out there! Yay!
I had the pleasure to work on the makeup for this beautiful bride recently, at the Athenaeum in Pasadena. We used a soft, classic palette of champagne, brown, and dusty pink to complement her perfect skin. I always strive to give the bride a look that will stand the test of time, and truly make her feel herself and comfortable with the look. The hair for this look was also soft, ‘undone’, but still sophisticated enough to stand up to the style of this elegant wedding.

I am so fortunate to be able to work with people who have amazing taste, and this bride who designed her own wedding details at the always cool ACE Hotel in Palm Springs was no exception. I loved her style with a very clean, slightly vintage aesthetic where we used a hot shade of orange-red on her lip as the focal point. Also, I got to work with the super adorable…and again, TALENTED photographer Yuna Leonard who’s dreamy, sweet style just made the photos incredibly memorable and unique!
